NEW MUSIC | EPITHET – BLUENOTE EP
You may remember back in October Yeti In The Basement interviewed Leeds based producer Epithet for our ‘Introducing’ series. Now Epithet is back with the release of his ‘Bluenote EP’ and second offering from imprint On The Prowl X.
The three track ‘Bluenote EP’ was released on vinyl in December, with digital formats released last week. Both original tracks, ‘Bluenote’ and ’Lightpipe’, featured in Epithet’s mix for Yeti’s ‘Basement’ mix series and are followed up with a remix of ‘Bluenote’ from Robert Rodriguez on the b-side, so if you like what you heard this should be music to your ears.
The Bluenote EP is nicely balanced and would bring value to any dicerning DJ’s arsenal. The title track brings a darker, moody element to the fray while ‘Lightpipe’ and Robert Rodriguez’s remix of ‘Bluenote’ offer solace with a more laid back attitude. Check out the tracks below.
