JAKE EMLYN GOING IN HARD

During the many hours spent trailing the web for music and things to keep me occupied, Jake Emlyn’s comical self leaped from a rainbow and onto my screen. Born and raised in London the singer song writer proclaims, “I’m famous but no1 knows it yet”, and that “I’m gonna have sex with lots of celebrities”, particularly Eliza Doolittle, you lucky thing. As well as Doolittle, Ronnie from EastEnders, Laura Haddock and Fearne Cotton also make Emlyn’s hit list.

Along with his varied “to do list” Emlyn keeps a diverse musical taste which includes Randy Newman, John Lennon, Regina Spektor, Tom Waits, The Beatles, Bone Thugs n Harmony, 2pac, Gilbert O’Sullivan, Eminem, Outkast, Laura Marling, The Beach Boys, Red Rat, Flight of the Conchords, Don McLean, Wu Tang Clan, Ian Dury and Peter Andre. Variety is the spice of life.
